The cost for supporting one child with a trained advocate is calculated by dividing the program costs by the number of children supported. While the number goes up and down slightly from one year to the next, over the past five years it has averaged at about $1,200 per child per year. This compares very favorably with the median average of $2,200 per child per year for (43) CASA programs in the State of California.
You can support one child for an entire year by either investing $1,200, or signing up to be sustainable donor at $100 per month. In either case, CASA El Dorado will recognize your contribution by:
- Annual Donor Reception: This is our opportunity to recognize our major donors by bringing them together for a causal evening of wine and heavy appetizers with our board of directors to allow them to thank you in person.
- CASA Leadership Council (CLC): We also conduct an annual luncheon hosted by CASA with the support of sponsors, to bring in a prominent guest speaker to speak about a pertinent topic related to child welfare.
- Annual Report: As a member of the CLC you will also be highlighted in or annual report.
Please do not hesitate to contact our Executive Director if you have any questions or simply care to discuss giving options in greater detail; 530-622-9882x202
